Our Initiatives

Relief4Ukraine

Across Canada, the people of Ukraine make up our neighbours, friends, colleagues, and family. So with so many of the Ukrainian people ripped away from their homes due to the Russian invasion, we knew we couldn’t just stand by and watch.
That’s why we started Relief4Ukraine, the ISI Foundation’s initiative to provide tangible support for the people of Ukraine, including building and procuring comfortable homes for the refugees, as well as providing other living essentials such as food, clothing, and personal hygiene products.
Moreover, we’ve not only helped fund safe transportation for people looking to escape the conflict, but thanks to your donations, have also helped the many good people who lost everything get their lives back on track in neighboring countries.
Relief4Ukraine funds social services, free legal support, language courses, job search support, upskilling classes and even funds the education of children unable to access public schools as refugees.
100% of every dollar donated to this initiative goes directly towards helping Ukrainians in need. All administrative costs are self-covered by the ISI Foundation. That way, you know all of your donations are being put to good use.

Art4Parkinsons

Everyday, 30 Canadians are diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, the world’s fastest growing neurological disorder.
One such Canadian was Scarborough, Ontario resident, and friend of ISI, James McKenzie, who, after taking to art therapy as part of his treatment, came up with a wonderful way to give back to his community: Auction his beautiful works to raise money for Parkinson Canada.
Deeply inspired by James’ tenacity and generosity, we at ISI Foundation have nurtured his idea into our initiative Art4Parkinsons.
Now thanks to the generous donations of artists from all across Canada, we are auctioning art pieces to help Parkinson Canada fund their critical research, advocacy, and education to improve the lives of people living with this disorder, and spread awareness to the Canadian public.
We hope that these artworks will inspire you as much as James inspired us, and that one day, Parkinson’s will no longer be the world’s fastest growing neurological disorder, but rather, its fastest shrinking.
